Question

COVID-19 Q’s

Answer

We understand things have changed slightly since we first posted our site. We want you to be reassured as we move forward with our wedding and reception. Both the church and venue will be following all local and federal guidelines. We hope you all join us in celebrating but completely understand personal concerns. Should things get out of hand from now until the wedding we will absolutely put the health and safety of our family and friends first. Just keep praying we can all go back to as normal as possible for November! P.S. As of September 2020 - You will need a mask to enter both the church and reception!

Question

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone but our venue can only hold so many people. Plus ones are reserved for significant others. We’re sorry for any inconveniences. Ben’s Note: “If their name ain’t on the invite don’t bother asking.”

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We hope that you respect our decision for an adults only affair. We love your kiddos but we also want you to kick back with a great night out celebrating and drinking with family and friends! We thank you in advance for making arrangements to go along with our decision. Ben’s Note: “Your child won’t have food.”

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Quick Answer: “Formal Attire” We’re definitely going for a formal look! But what does that mean? 3 Rules of Thumb to follow: 1) Being as our ceremony is a full mass, we ask that you dress accordingly. 2) If your grandma wouldn’t approve you probably shouldn’t wear it to our wedding. 3) Please no sneakers, bikinis, or wedding dresses. We ask that you allow Jess to be the only one in white. Ben’s Note: “If you don’t know how to dress for a wedding by now you’re in some serious trouble.”

Question

Parking and Transportation

Answer

There will be parking available at both the church and reception venue. We will also be providing transportation to and from the reception venue and hotel. Ben’s Note: “Don’t hit my car.”

Question

Can we take photos in the church?

Answer

Quick answer. No. We ask that you refrain from taking photos as best you can during the ceremony out of respect for us, the Sacrament, and our highly trained photographers. There will be plenty of opportunities to grab pictures with us at the reception and we will be happy to share our online photo album after the wedding. Be sure to use our wedding hashtag on social media! #ThankYouKrystalKiger Ben’s Note: “Anyone caught with a phone at the ceremony will have them taken and can only receive them back upon exiting the reception.”

Question

Dinner choices and Food allergies?

Answer

On your invitation you will have your choice of meal. Our venue will provide similar meals for those in need with special dietary restrictions. Just be sure to let us know and we can make the necessary accommodations. Ben’s Note: “Let us know so you don’t die.”
