We're Getting Married!

Ben and Eleena met in modern day's romance stadium: Hinge. Ben messaged Eleena about Danny Devito, and she knew she had to respond. Their first date was on March 30, 2022 at a Biergarten in Hoboken where Ben performed a 2 minute comedy standup at an open mic. Before the date, Eleena's friends told her, "if you don't get the ick from this, then you know he's the one," and low and behold, she did NOT get the ick! Sparks flew as the two immediately bonded over all their crazy specific similarities, such as both having GI doctor dads, Ben sharing his Russian name with Eleena's dog, Benya, and both being first generation Russian Jews. Before long, they were inseparable. They moved in together March 2023, and Ben proposed on November 24 at the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park, making their proposal a real life New York rom-com fairytale. Their shared love of Italy (& Eleena's Pinterest board dating back to 2012) led them to a planning their wedding in Rome.
