We're getting married

The story starts on Welcome Weekend of our sophomore year at UC. Amanda got invited to a pregame at Ben's apartment through a mutual friend. Amanda whispered to her friend that she thought Ben was cute, which was all it took for her friend to start playing matchmaker. Amanda's friend Adriana went up to Ben and said "you know she's single, right?" After taking a group picture together Ben made his move. Ben said "can you send me that picture?" They then began texting and hanging out every weekend. 10 years later and here we are!

It was New Years Day and Ben had suggested they go on a hike. Amanda thought nothing of it—after all, hiking was their favorite thing to do. During the hike they were trying out their new go pro that they had been trying to use more. When they got to the top of the trail Ben set up the go pro to take a picture. Amanda turned around to see Ben on one knee asking her to marry him. Amanda (in literal shock) replied "I do" as if already saying her vows. It was the perfect beginning to the new year and the perfect start to forever.
