Lindsay and Ben met in 2015 while attending Washington College. At the time, Lindsay was a freshman and Ben was a sophomore. The two were enrolled in General Biology II, a course that they were both struggling in. One day, Ben arrived to the lecture without a pencil to take notes and borrowed one from Lindsay, who was seated behind him. Neither knew the others name. Fast forward a few months, and the two crossed paths again in Panama City Beach. Lindsay and Ben were on spring break with friends when they bumped into each other on the beach. Their mutual friend Adam introduced them, but both recalled having met each other previously. They laughed when they realized that Ben never returned Lindsay’s pencil after the lecture that day. Over the next week their friend groups hung out together frequently, chilling on the beach, getting dinner, and going out to bars and concerts. Lindsay and Ben soon became fast friends and Ben decided to make a move and ask Lindsay out to dinner. She agreed, and the two went on several more dates and formed a study group upon returning to Washington College. After that, Lindsay and Ben were inseparable, dating all throughout college. After graduating, they moved in together in Baltimore, Maryland. In August 2022, after 7 years together, Ben asked Lindsay to marry him while the two were taking a pre-dinner walk on the beach with friends in Bethany Beach, Delaware. The two recently moved from Baltimore to Alexandria in February 2024 for Lindsay's new job, embarking on their next exciting chapter together!
