An odd thing to say when we were all supposed to be at home, but it's sort of true. After starting a new job and meeting some amazing friends, Cheryl found herself incorporated into a sliver of John's much larger friend group, as we "quaranteamed" together. After months and months of building a friendship, a relationship started to form. We even shared our first Christmas together at John's family gathering due to potential COVID exposure (thankfully everyone was in the clear). After many meals shared, countless movies watched, and hundreds of miles hiked, we decided we wanted to keep sharing all those experiences and more, forever. So, at San Martino, on the side of a cliff in Griante, Italy, with a beautiful view of Lake Como, John proposed. We're excited to celebrate our love and futures together with you all!
