Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lindsay Sullivan and Joe Bellitti
For those of you who may have additional time with your travel schedules we wanted to give some ideas of things to do in the area! Chatham has a lot to offer, and we're so excited to share a few of our favorites spots in the area with you!!

"The Loop" Walk

From Downtown Main Street to the lighthouse there is an unofficial, yet beautiful walk that Lindsay and Joe greatly enjoy. This saunter is 4 miles long, although there are places you can cut across. It is a beautiful way to see more ocean views, and all the different style homes Chatham has to offer. 1. Start at Wayside Inn on Main Street. 2. Stay straight and make a Left onto Stage Harbor Road. 3. Make a Right onto Cedar Street. 4. Make a Left onto Battlefield Road. 5. Make a Left onto Champlain Road. 6. Stay on Champlain Road and veer Left as it changes into Stage Harbor Road.* 7. Make a Right onto Bridge Street. 8. Make a Left onto Main Street (Say Hi to the Lighthouse!!). 9. Make a Left to stay on Main Street. 10. Stay on Main Street until you reach your start point! *For a Shorter Loop (3.5 mi): Follow steps 1-6. Stay straight onto Stage Harbor. Make a Right on to Cross Street. Veer Left to stay on Cross street. Make a Right to return back to Main Street towards Wayside Inn.

Red Nun

Red Nun

746 Main St, Chatham, MA 02633
, (508) 348-0469

The Red Nun is an American-fare restaurant bar with a cozy, nautical-themed interior and friendly service. This is one of Lindsay and Joe's favorite spots for lunch dates, a casual beer, and to watch sports. We HIGHLY recommend the "Nunchos". These heavenly nachos are full of flavor. The dish starts with generous layers of crispy tortilla chips, which form a sturdy vehicle for the heaping volume of Monterey jack and cheddar cheeses.... Wha.. What?? Oops sorry, distracted. Back on track. Lindsay and Joe order these each and every time they visit, and certainly think you should do the same!

Wild Goose Tavern

Wild Goose Tavern

512 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633

Situated in the heart of downtown Chatham, the Wild Goose is a wonderful and inviting dining spot with a newly renovated bar. For those of you staying at Wayside it's just a stone's throw away! Lindsay and Joe HIGHLY recommend the Wild Goose Fries - decadently crispy fries coated in bacon and cheese - If you're ever in Chatham and Joe and Lindsay haven't responded to your texts, they aren't being rude I promise, they just got lost at the bottom of a plate of these bad boys.

Chatham Candy Manor

Chatham Candy Manor

484 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633

Got a sweet tooth?? Check out the Candy Manor for quaint, nostalgic, and delicious candy offerings! This old-fashioned candy store is here to satiate all of your candy and artisanal chocolate cravings. Don't sleep on the truffles!!

Gustare Gourmet

Gustare Gourmet

400 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633

Throughout their years, and particularly in Kansas, Lindsay and Joe often find themselves asked the question "Do you really need all of that olive oil for luxurious wine, bread, and cheese date nights?" And invariably their response is "Absolutely!" and it's ok if they never speak to that person again for the absurdity of the question. A huge part of their decadent date night experience is owed to Gustare, which is a speciality olive oil and vinegar shop well known for their high quality and use of hand-crafted ingredients. Take a chance to sample a variety of flavors and blends, guided by knowledgeable staff who offer insights on pairings and culinary uses. Note from Lindsay and Joe: STEP OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE. There are some delicious products that may not be what you initially anticipate - You never know what life will put in your lap when you open your arms and embrace it!

Fisherman's Daughter

Fisherman's Daughter

521 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633

Fisherman's Daughter is a stylish and coastal inspired clothing boutique! The Local Owner, Taylor (see the about us page), grew up in Chatham. The graphic screen printed tee shirts and sweatshirts you will see as you walk in the store are GORGEOUS and all designed and drawn by Taylor herself. They have a full range of clothing in stock for women, men, and children, and even if you are not interested in shopping, stopping by to see these really talented designs is well worth it!

Chatham Pier Fish Market

Chatham Pier Fish Market

45 Barcliff Avenue, Chatham, MA 02633

The Chatham Fish Pier Market is a bustling seafood market located at Chatham’s historic fish pier. Stop by to watch Fisherman off the ocean come in to unload their catch, take in amazing ocean views, and enjoy a succulent lobster roll (don't miss out on these french fries either)

Chatham Lighthouse

Chatham Lighthouse

37 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633

Check out Chatham Lighthouse, where magic blossomed and the couple's beautiful wedding story began (see Home page for a detailed account of Joe's proposal). This lighthouse is a scene straight from a romantic storybook, blending natural beauty with a touch of maritime charm. Look towards the Lighthouse in one direction to capture the pure brilliance and historical importance of it's role providing safety to fisherman and travelers, look toward the ocean to be enveloped by the panoramic view and elegant waves. Either way you're covered, and Joe and Lindsay recommend both naturally. If you're up for it, sunrise here in particular is breathtaking, and you are able to explore the beach down below! Get a feel for why Joe picked this picturesque and emotionally salient location!

Chatham Bars Inn

Chatham Bars Inn

297 Shore Road, Chatham, MA 02633

Set on the picturesque waterfront, this luxurious resort has more to offer than elegant lodging options. In particular, Joe and Lindsay recommend the Bayview Terrace, which is a lovely open-seating outdoor bar. Sorry Chainsmokers, we are not staying in Paris, but we are definitely hanging out on this Terrace. Enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail, wood-fired artisanal pizzas, and as the name so aptly implies an idyllic view of the bay. Lindsay and Joe make sure to include a stop to the Adirondack Chairs overlooking the water, with a lavish cocktail each time they are in town.

Shops on Main Street

Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633

There are many shops and boutiques in Chatham! Some of Joe and Lindsay's personal favorites are listed below: Where the Sidewalk Ends - a bookstore Tale of the Cod - fine gifts and furniture Violet's - small clothing store boutique Sundance Clothing - unique artisan made clothing Mayflower Shop - home goods store with a maritime and coastal theme Mahi Gold - clothing store
