DC has several airports, but we would recommend DCA as the most centrally-located option with easy Metro access.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles is a second airport option. It’s about an hour ride on the Metro from DC and Alexandria.

Metro (WMATA)

While you’re visiting the area, we would encourage you to take the Metro or bus. You can add a Metro card to your phone through Apple or Google pay, or you can buy a physical card at any Metro station. If you’re in Alexandria, no payment is required for the DASH busses.
