Camping List

Cell phone service is very spotty, you will have to drive off-site to get reliable service. This also means no internet. There is a landline phone in the back of the dining hall for emergencies. We have a section of the RSVP tab dedicated to your camping needs so we can assign bunks before the wedding. Each dorm has 4 large rooms with 4 upper bunks and 4 lower bunks each, plus a small room with one upper and one lower bunk. Each dorm also has an attached bathroom with heated showers and a deck area. We have a recommended packing list, Flashlight Bedding- If you are camping you must bring bedding, it will not be provided. The bunks fit a Twin XL fitted sheet very well, bring your pillow and blanket of choice. if you prefer darkness or privacy in your bunk bring a top sheet or tapestry to create a curtain to close off your bunk. Showers and Bathroom- It's recommended you bring shower shoes such as flip-flops. Don't forget your towels and toiletries! Southern Bugs and Sun- I highly recommend bringing bug spray and your chosen mosquito relief tonic. If you burn easily we recommend sunscreen. Comfort- Camping chairs are nice to have around camp when the festivities are not active. If you are local please bring chairs for your party and if you can bring an extra for our out of towners it would be greatly appreciated. Bring a book, your knitting/crochet, or whatever you like to have to pass the time while enjoying the free time before and after the wedding. Socializing is of course encouraged. Food for the weekend- Please bring a vessel for your beverages! It is so much easier and less wasteful to refill your coffee in a tumbler than a solo cup. If you would like to bring snacks to have in your dorm you may or if you would like to donate snacks to the weekend effort, we would very much appreciate it, please get in touch with the bride to let her know what you would like to contribute if you choose to do so. We have a Small hotel block for those interested in staying away from camp. The block closes on August 25. It is set for 9/19-9/22 at $159 a night.
