One of our favorite breakfast spots in Charleston. There can be a lengthly wait but the food is worth it! They have something for everyone.
If you want a good "Mom & Pop" type breakfast, this is the place. It has great views of the water too!
A great breakfast spot. Wait times can be pretty lengthy here so we suggest going early.
This is a great lunch spot. Our favorite dish is the caesar salad with lump crab. Please note this is a seafood focused restaurant. If you are allergic or don't like seafood, we suggest another option.
It's not a southern wedding without some fried chicken! We recommend this as a lunch or casual dinner spot. You must try the scalloped potatoes. They do not accept reservations so expect about a 15 minute wait.
This is a great lunch or dinner spot but please know Shem Creek gets a bit rowdy when the sun goes down. It is on the water so be on the lookout for dolphins or a beautiful Carolina sunset.
This is a classic for a reason. We recommend for dinner or their famous Sunday Gospel Brunch. Please make sure you book ahead.
We had our first date here. This is a great dinner spot. We recommend the meatballs, focaccia, and Bucatini Nero. Reservations go quickly here so book ahead.
This is our favorite spot for celebratory dinners. We suggest the Pillows of Gold. They also have a market with pizza, salads, and sandwiches if you need a quick bite. The restaurant design is gorgeous! Book ahead because reservations can be hard to come by.
This is Charleston's famous bridge. You can walk along the path for beautiful views of the harbor. It is 2.5 miles one way so plan accordingly.
Another iconic Charleston location. We recommend pairing this with a walk around the Battery.
The Battery is steeped in history from the 19th century. Beautiful antebellum homes line the streets with a waterfront walking path.
The Waterfront Park features the pineapple fountain symbolizing southern hospitality. This park offers views of the Ravenel bridge, the USS Yorktown, and Fort Sumter.
The Four Corners of Law is the intersection of Broad and Meeting Streets, where four buildings represent the different pillars of law: St. Michael's Church (God's law), Charleston City Hall (city law), the Charleston County Courthouse (state law), and the U.S. Post Office and Federal Courthouse (federal law).
Think of King Street as the heart of Charleston. Filled with great restaurants, bars, shopping, and quick bites - there's something for everyone here. Both Hotel Bennet and our venue are located on this street.
This is the place for souvenirs or unique gifts. There is a day market every day from 9:00 - 5:00 and a night market every weekend (Friday and Saturday) from 6:30 - 10:00. This can get crowded during the day so be prepared. If there is rain we highly suggest avoiding this area as it is prone to flooding. If you are interested in a ghost tour, they are located around this area as well.
This is a popular day and night social spot. The Palmetto Breeze, a catamaran that tours Charleston, also boards here if you are interested. Our favorite spots are Tavern and Table or Saltwater Cowboys.
