FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend planning to arrive at the venue around 5:00 PM. Traffic around Charleston can be unpredictable so give yourself plenty of time.

Question

What should I wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Women: We suggest a fun summer sundress, maxi dress, matching set, or pants with a festive top. Dressy sandals, flats, and wedges are all fine. Heels may be difficult to walk in on the gravel and wood surrounding the restaurant. As stated, it can get chilly after the sun goes down so bring a light jacket or cardigan. Men: We suggest dress pants or khakis with a collard shirt. If you would like to bring a sports coat or tie, feel free but there's no pressure! Please wear sneakers or loafers, no flip flops.

Question

What should I wear to the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Weather in Charleston for this time of year can be wildly unpredictable so please check the weather leading up to the event. We do have a rain plan in place. Women: We suggest a floor-length dress, festive cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit. There is grass at the venue so a wider heel might be easier to walk in. Men: A tuxedo is not required, but can be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, however, a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a dark colored tie are acceptable.

Question

What do you mean by jewel tones?

Answer

Jewel tones are the colors typically associated with rare jewels. There are examples on Google as well as Pinterest. Please do NOT wear white, cream, pearl, or any other bridal color.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Charleston's Visitor Center Parking Garage is within walking distance of the venue. They typically do a flat $5.00 rate on the weekends.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We are doing stations for dinner so there will be plenty of options available. Please let us know of any allergies so we can ensure precautions are taken to ensure no cross contamination.
