While we love your kiddos, this is an adult-only event. Please figure out childcare ahead of time and in return, we will ensure you have the best night out possible!
Our invitations specify how many seats are reserved in your honor. We understand that things can change leading up to a wedding. Reach out to us personally at least 1-2 months prior to June 13th if you believe you have an extenuating circumstance and we'll do our best to meet you in the middle!
May 1st at the latest! Earlier is better (regardless of if it is a yes or no) to help the planning process. Luckily you're already in the right spot, you can RSVP on our website.
Check out our lodging tab for the most practical hotel options. We also encourage you to look into Airbnbs to see what makes the most sense for your party. San Francisco is a highly localized city, so anything in the Mission neighborhood or north of that is a manageable Uber/Train/Drive to everything we have planned
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest and most convenient. Oakland (OAK) is a good backup option and often has budget-friendly flights, especially for our Southern California guests.
Nope! Ride shares like Uber and Lyft are easy to use around the city. We recommend not renting a car unless you plan to explore beyond the city. We are not offering shuttle services, but transportation will be very intuitive and cost-effective. If you do rent a car and need help parallel parking, call Bella. She will happily show you her skills.
The Presidio is about 15–25 minutes from most central neighborhoods (the Haight, Pac Heights, Hayes Valley). Ride shares or taxi service are reliable. Parking is available at the wedding venue, but limited at Golden Gate Park where we will be having our welcome event.
We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, and ladies may choose a long evening gown, a chic cocktail dress or classy seprates. Our venue won't have any grass for you to walk through unless you would like to take a stroll though the beautiful grounds around. Don't forget: Bring a jacket or wrap, you’ll thank us when the fog rolls in!
It sure is, Mark Twain! San Francisco summers, particularly in neighborhoods like the Sunset, Richmond, and near the Golden Gate, can be foggy, windy, and chilly, often colder than spring or fall. So even though we are having a June wedding, be sure to bring layers!
Muir Woods & Sausalito – Walk among redwoods, then enjoy waterfront dining and shopping. You will need to book tickets to get into Muir Woods proper in advance. But there are lots of great other trails if you don't want to go that route. (30 minutes north) Sonoma Wine Country – Relaxed tastings and charming town square (1.5 hours north) Golden Gate Park & Ocean Beach – Museums, gardens, and even Bison right in SF! Take a walk and explore one of the largest city parks that has something to offer everyone. Golden Gate Bridge Walk or Bike – Iconic views with easy access from the Presidio. You can rent bikes at multiple places throughout the city and take them up over the bridge. If you are feelin up for it, the views at the top of Hawk Hill are amazing and the down hill ride is (maybe) worth the climb.
