Against all odds, we stumbled upon the purest love of our lives via Tinder. Our first date began at an after hours concert in a local coffee shop. Sean brought the wine, Bella brought chocolate crickets. Falling in love was easy. There were indeed tests along the way. Approval from Bella's sister was a big one. Bella's first outing to Skyline Chili was another. Time and time again, our friends and family instantly loved the new person brought in their lives. Soon, it was hard to tell where Sean's community ended and Bella's began. There isn't enough space to list all the things we love about one another, but dedication to community and family is a big one. These relationships fuel the core light of our lives when money, hardship, or loss bring about difficult times. An undying commitment to fun is another. In the Fall of 2024, Bella made plans to hike the Camino de Santiago with her mother and sister. Not to be outdone, Sean promptly put together a trek through the Balkans with his two brothers. The plan was for Bella to end her trip in Malta. Sadly, it was just too convoluted to find a way to meet up. OR WAS IT?? Sean carried an engagement ring through rural Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo for two weeks. He somehow avoided constant threats of misplacement or theft. The idea was too ludicrous to arouse suspicion from Bella. On July 10th, 2025, Bella made her way to the Upper Barrakka Gardens of Malta with her family. She was completely convinced that it was an average day abroad. Little did she know, Sean had been in the country for 24 hours prepping his plan. The proposal was the best moment in both of their lives. The fun, family, and community that followed have only made it even better.
