Travel Note
We know that transportation can be tricky, which is why we will be contracting a private driver to help you get to and from the airport in Guatemala City (La Aurora) and Antigua safely. The coordinated transportation costs: - Airport to Antigua: Q370 ($53USD) for up to 3 people and Q420 ($60USD) for 4-9 passengers - Antigua to Airport: Q350 ($50USD) for up to 3 people and Q400 ($58USD) for 4-9 passengers If you're arriving the La Aurora International Airport and want to get to Antigua, exit the airport through the door to your furthest right after passing through customs. Your driver will be waiting for you with a sign that has your name on it close to where the taxis are parked. You can pay him in cash. If you're having any issue, please WhatsApp call our planner at +502 5510 0418. Please fill out the link with all your information so we can coordinate your pick up with the driver.
Flight
Guatemala is such a beautiful country to explore, which is why we highly recommend coming a few days before the festivities or staying after to be able to make the most of your trip. In order to attend the activities we have planned, we recommend flying in on the 3rd or 4th of March. There is one main airport to fly to, which is La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City. All flights entering Guatemala will land there and then you can book transportation to travel to other places around the country, such as Antigua, El Paredon, Lago Atitlan, and Tikal.
