Justin and Giovanni met in high school and became close friends in their senior year. They kept in touch after they graduated and went to separate colleges – Gio in Pennsylvania and Justin in Massachusetts. During breaks, they spent their time walking around Scranton's Nay Aug Park, climbing the nearby train cars, and hiking along the rivers and waterfalls. In the Spring of 2019, Justin asked Gio if she’d like to take their relationship further and see where things go… she said yes! After braving long-distance for the first four years of their relationship, Justin and Gio moved in together in the summer of 2023, calling Colorado their new home. Since then, they’ve kept busy with home-cooked meals, late-night gaming sessions, horror movie marathons, and National Park road trips. On September 23rd, 2024, they took a trip to Olympic National Park in Washington. There, at the top of a mountain, Justin pulled a small box out of his hiking pack, took Gio by the hand, and got down on one knee… once again, she said yes! Justin and Gio are looking forward to celebrating their marriage with their loved ones and spending the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.
