We're Getting Married!

Our love story began on November 3rd, 2018, at a Sigma Nu tailgate before an NC State football game. Jory had taken the fraternity party bus to the stadium that morning—yes, even though he played on the team—and Bella was there with her sister, Emma, and a friend, Regan, when they happened to wander over to the Sigma Nu tent. Bella didn’t believe Jory when he told her he was on the football team. Jory, thinking quickly, used it as the perfect excuse to get her Snapchat—he promised to send a picture of his locker in the Murphy Center as proof. True to his word, he sent the snap and Bella left him on read. But fate had other plans. Later that night, their paths crossed again at a Sigma Nu house party, where they ended up as beer pong partners. They spent the rest of the evening talking and getting to know a little more about each other. The very next day, Jory took Bella on their first "official" date to Five Guys in North Hills. From that moment on, they were inseparable. What started as a chance meeting quickly turned into something more. Over the next several years, Jory and Bella made countless memories together. From grilling out with friends at Jory’s college townhouse, to cheering on the NC State Wolfpack at several football and basketball games. They also shared some unforgettable vacations—soaking up the sun in the Bahamas, skiing and snowboarding in Park City, Utah, and a couple trips to Las Vegas, which is one of their favorite places. In December 2020, they brought home their Goldendoodle, Enzo, who quickly became a central part of their lives. These experiences are just a few of the many that have shaped their story. On September 15, 2024, Jory decided it was time to pop the question. He found the perfect moment between bursts of rain to take Bella for a walk on Wrightsville Beach—and there, he asked her to marry him. To top it all off, friends and family were waiting nearby at the Commodore Club to celebrate with them. The weekend was perfect in every way. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter as husband and wife with all of you—we’re so grateful to have such incredible people in our lives to share it with!
