While this is colorful Colorado, we will be a couple of weeks shy since the official start of winter. Please be sure to pack warm clothing as the wether in Denver can get as low as the 10 degrees during the cold months of the year. Be sure to pack a hat, gloves, and a scarf if you plan on spending time outside. It may seem silly but they are life savers.
The invitations and the website states that the dress code is black tie and all guests must wear black. As long as you feel good in what you’ve got, you’ll look great. The whole event will be inside but we encourage a warm coat when you move from the car to the venue and the venue to the car. The car always takes a couple of minutes to warm in this cool Colorado weather.
Please be sure to arrive to the venue no later than 3:50pm as the ceremony will start at 4:00pm. We would like everyone to be seated to proceed on time and stick to the schedule.
Unfortunately, no. We would like everyone to be fully present throughout the ceremony and require all electronic devices be put away until after the ceremony.
While we are aware that you wish to document this moment and we do too. We would like to have our wedding photos and videos free of anyone on their devices during the ceremony. Not only will it look better but it will be great to cherish the moment in person with no distractions.
We will give you a link to the wedding videos if you would like once the videographer has it ready. So you can always click on the link and watch the ceremony whenever you would like.
You are more than welcome to film and take photos throughout the rest of the evening. We understand pictures and videos are memories and we are very grateful that you will be a part of our memories on this special day.
There will be a cocktail hour and will be approximately an hour and a half long. The cocktail hour will include hors d'oeuvres and drinks the entire time.
Yes, there will be an open bar and we encourage everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. We must warn you that the elevation in Denver is much higher than any other states, to take that into consideration as you drink. You will feel the alcohol giggles much faster in Denver than if you’re closer to sea level. Please try to drink one glass of water for every two alcoholic drinks you have to stay up and dance all night!
As much as we love your kiddos, we want you to let your hair down. Grab a drink and dance the night away.
As Belém’s first language is Spanish, the ceremony will be in English and Spanish. Our officiant, Carlos is bilingual and will be switching back and forth between both languages. He will translate the speeches for the toast to all those who do not speak English or fully understand it.
We will alternate between music in both languages and encourage everyone to go out to the dance floor and learn or teach new dances to those around you!
