Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino International Airport (FCO). GETTING TO OUR VENUE FROM ROME AIRPORT: *keep in mind the airport is 30 mins outside of the city.* Two options! You can rent a car from the airport and drive through Tuscany to the venue. Or what Kyle and I did on our October trip-- We landed in Rome, hopped on the Leonardo Express (local train) which took us from the airport into the Main Terminal in center city Rome where we then hopped on the High Speed Italo train (1.5 hrs) to Florence. We then rented a car from Budget and drove to the venue! Distance from Rome (FCO) Airport to the farmhouse by car: 2 hrs and 30 mins

Milan (MXP)
Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP) GETTING TO OUR VENUE FROM MILAN: *MXP is 30 minutes outside of Milan center city.* You could take the local train, taxi or bus into Milan Center City. Once you're in Milano Centrale you can take the high speed Italo train (2 hrs) into Florence (Firenze S.M. Novella) and then rent a car and drive an hour and a half to the venue! This is what Kyle and I are doing, otherwise renting a car from Milan airport to the venue would be a 5 hour drive!

Florence (FLR)
Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) Another option would be to fly into Florence. Although the flights are more expensive from the U.S. and not direct, it is closer and the most convenient to the farmhouse in Montefollonico. Kyle and I rented our car from the Budget Car rental company in Firenze (Florence). Leonardo Express
If you fly into Rome or Milan and are looking to get to the high speed train-- you have to take the local Leonardo Express train into the Central Terminal where you will then switch trains. There are Leonardo Express ticket booths in the airport to purchase the train ticket.
