Please double check your passports to make sure they're valid! Passports are required!
Starting in May 2025, travelers from visa-exempt countries, including the United States, will need a valid European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) visa waiver to enter Italy and other Schengen member countries for short stays. The ETIAS is an electronic travel authorization that aims to improve border management and increase security across Europe. Although this is not required yet-- it's looking like this form will be required to travel in 2025! If it becomes mandatory, here is the link to fill out! https://www.etiasitaly.com/requirements#:~:text=Entry%20requirements%20for%20Italy&text=In%202025%2C%20travellers%20from%20visa,enter%20Italy%20for%20short%20periods.
Although it's not required when renting a car, we've heard it's required if you get pulled over by the police. We played it safe and got one! It took me 10 minutes to fill out an application and they mailed it directly to our house! Here is the website: https://international-permit.com/en-us
As much as we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding week be child-free, with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer. We hope that you understand our decision and are still able to join us all 3 days!
Early mornings and evenings may be cooler, but afternoons can be hot! The average temperature can range from 50°F at night to the 70s during the day!
Yes! Welcome Dinner Cocktail Ceremony and Wedding Garden Formal Morning After Brunch Casual ** ladies! ** most of the events, including the wedding will be on the property grounds- block heels or wedges may be easier to walk in versus a thin heel (just a suggestion!) I'd also suggest to pack a wrap or scarf! The weather is extremely unpredictable end of September!
We recommend yes! Euros would be smart to use in small towns, taxis, for small purchases, and tipping (not necessary but we did)! We also did laundry which accepted coins! There are banks and exchange shops in Italy where you can exchange for euros should you forget before the trip. Everywhere we went accepted major credit cards but check with your bank just incase!
Make sure you purchase a European Travel Plug Adapter! Italy has different outlets than us so you will definitely need one! We purchased ours from Amazon, the brand Ceptics! *** Pack an umbrella! It rained on and off during our entire October trip! The weather in the fall is extremely unpredictable.

BOTH Rome and Milan airports are on the outskirts of the city. You must take the local train (Leonardo Express) from the airport to get into the city, or take a taxi! You can buy tickets for the Leonardo Express train at the airport, there is a booth. If you are looking to reach the Italo high speed train, you must take the local train into the main terminals.
If you have any food allergies or would prefer the vegan or vegetarian option for our set menu please reach out to GiAnna or Kyle so that we can accommodate you! :)
