Question

What will the weekend look like?

Answer

One. Big. Party. Seriously! We've rented the entire lodge for our 24/7 use from Friday at 4pm until Sunday at 10am. The lodge has three hot tubs, a steam shower, a sauna, a game room/movie room (we will be bringing our Xbox!) and tons of yard games to enjoy. If you want to enjoy the outdoor space, we can also make s'mores! You won't need to leave the lodge once you're there to have a good time but there are tons of hikes around the area as well, since we're staying outside of the San Juan Mountains. So, kick back, relax, and let's celebrate!

Am I invited to the welcome dinner?

Answer

Yes, the welcome dinner is for EVERYONE, not just the wedding party! For the welcome dinner, casual dress is fine. We're looking forward to kicking off the weekend with you all.

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be at Black Diamond Lodge in Durango, Colorado. As a thank you to our friends and family for joining us on our special day, we have covered lodging for everyone for the weekend! You are only responsible for airfare and transport to the lodge. We recommend renting a car for the weekend so that you can explore Friday before check-in, Saturday before the wedding, until Monday at checkout! Sunday is a free day. There is plenty of parking at the lodge. If you'd like to give us a gift, you can let the front desk know however much you'd like to contribute to lodging expenses when you check-in and it will be refunded to us!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be held outdoors with a cocktail hour to follow! We ask that you dress accordingly, as it may be cold. Additionally, the ceremony area is grassy, so ladies please remember when choosing your shoes! This will be followed by an indoor reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us for our big day! We are requesting semi-formal attire, with formal attire appreciated, for our wedding. This includes tea/floor length dresses or pantsuits for women, and tuxedos or suits for men. Please no jeans or short dresses. Remember it will likely be cold. Feel free to wear any colors other than white, red, or dark green as these are our wedding colors!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Therefore, there will be no plus ones. Thank you for understanding!

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your kids, we really do! But our wedding weekend will be an adult-only event, therefore, no children will be allowed on the premises. Thank you for understanding.

How should I RSVP and whats the deadline?

Answer

You can RSVP via the QR code on your invitation, or at the RSVP tab at the top of this webpage. Kindly respond by September 25, 2025 to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably.

What do I do if I can't make it?

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Totally fine! Just let us know when you'll be checking in and when you'll be leaving so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be put away and silenced. Don't worry, we'll give you a minute to snap a photo before we begin! We want everyone to be fully present with us and for the photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you. We will also have a QR code that will download to a Google Drive so you can take pictures on your phone and upload them for us!

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We are extremely lucky to have love, laughter, and a house full of furniture, but if you'd like to help us celebrate with a gift, we are registered through Amazon and Zola at the link labeled "Registry" above, which includes a newlywed fund—part of which will go towards our honeymoon.
