Nate and Bekkah met in grad school at Texas A&M University, specifically global econ class. They both took school very seriously so while he was taking detailed notes, she was sleeping on his shoulder. Every week, without fail, Nate tried to keep Bekkah awake for class and eventually, this persistent harassment turned into a friendship. One day, an ice storm hit Texas, and Bekkah lured Nate over with promises of a warm house, companionship during exams, and taco soup. Nate ended up kidnapped at Bekkah's for a couple of days and they've been inseparable ever since.
