FAQs

Question

Permits

Answer

You will need a pass to get into the National Park. Please follow this link to learn more about National Park passes https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/fees.htm. You will also need a vehicle reservation/permit to access the Going-to-the-Sun Road, and other parts of the park. These vehicle reservations are operating on a timed-entry system this year. This means you will have a two hour window to enter the park, and you will have to plan in advance for this. Please follow this link to learn more about permits and reservations! https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/vehicle-reservations.htm

Question

Ceremony

Answer

You will need to park at the Apgar Visitor's Center. There will be a short, 1/4 mile walk from there to the Amphitheater. Please wear appropriate footwear and leave plenty of time to find parking and get to the ceremony site.

Question

Want more information?

Answer

Check out the National Park's website at https://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm to learn more about the park.

Question

How do we get into the park?

Answer

The West Entrance to Glacier National Park is a 10-15 minute drive from Martin City. This entrance provides access to Apgar Village and the western most entrance to the Going-to-the-Sun Road. There is also an entrance on the eastern side of the park.

Question

What's the best way to get around?

Answer

Renting a car is going to be the best way to get around while you're out there. There are bus tours that you can get tickets for to take you across the Going-to-the-Sun-Road, but everything else is more easily accessible by car!

Question

What if we can't make it?

Answer

Don't worry! We know that not everyone will be able to come. We will be having an after party at a later date to celebrate with all of our family and friends that weren't able to join us in MT.
