Brynne Begalke

Maid of Honor

Sister of Bride Growing up Brynne and I have always been quite close but when she left for college we had a long stretch where we didn’t live anywhere near each other for a long time. After living in different time zones for most of our adult life it has been great to now live close to each other and do activities we both love as sisters.

Peter Heal

Best Man

Brother of Groom Peter and I have been battling it out since Little League. Whether it was running around the park outside our house growing up or playing euchre at the cabin. Our competitive spirits have overcome many wins and losses. Peter has been a great brother and supporter to our many adventures. I can always count on Peter to come out and explore wherever we call home.

Molly Harvat

Bridesmaid

Childhood best friend of Bride, cousin of Groom, daughter of officiant Molly and I met at the ripe age of three years old at preschool and immediately became best friends. As we grew up we remained extremely close with countless ski trips, summer boat days, and too many laughs to count. With a friendship like ours it’s extremely fitting that Molly will be my cousin after the big day! I already know we will be just as close and laugh just as hard when we are 70 years old.

Stephen Milani

Groomsman

Childhood best Friend Stephen and I go back to 5th grade basketball tournaments. The amount of stress we put on our mothers growing up truly bonds our friendship. Since I left Wisconsin Stu has always come out to visit, from a quick weekend in NYC to a full month in Jackson. I can always count of Stephen to keep me in the loop with all things Wisco.

Kyra Sweeney

Bridesmaid

College best friend of Bride Kyra and I met on the first day of freshman orientation at Canisus college and bonded over a mutual interest. After that day we were inseparable for most of the rest of college. Being from out of state and Kyra being local to the Buffalo area, her family became like a second family to me throughout college. Kyra is now located in NYC and we don’t see each other near as much as I’d like but are always there for each other.

Travis Peterson

Groomsman

Friend from University of Wisconsin Stout From bikes to skis to deep sea fishing Travis and I have done it all. Travis recently settled down in the mountain west and from the occasional yearly guys trip to being a weekend away from vast adventure. Travis continues to be the guy I rely on to spend a weekend in the mountains or hitting the town for a good time.

Sydney Snyder

Bridesmaid

Childhood/high school/life friend of Bride Sydney and I met in kindergarten at St. Jerome’s and became great friends right away. I left St. Jerome’s after 2nd grade but we remained close throughout grade and middle school till we were at the same school again in high school. Sydney came with me on most of our spring break trips in high school and I’m pretty sure my parents enjoyed her company more than mine but I can’t blame them, she’s pretty awesome.

Brad Springer

Groomsman

Friend from University Wisconsin Stout Brad and I met late in college, but our friendship took off when we both settled in the mountains. In fact, one of the reasons I decided to call the mountains home was the many trips I took visiting Brad in Utah for skiing, biking, and camping. Brad is the brains of our adventure trips, I just show up with gear and ask where the first brewery stop is along the way.

Megan Zenger

Bridesmaid

College friend of Bride Megan and I met freshman year of college and she was able to somehow score a quad dorm room for the two of us and our friends Kyra and Lauren. We had such a fun freshman year we decided to live together the next 5 years. Megan and I have been great adventure/travel buddies from skiing in Park City to visiting our friend Kyra in Barcelona on her semester abroad. Megan now lives in NYC and we keep up over the phone but don’t see each other as much as we’d like. Excitingly, our birthdays are only two days apart and we’ve never spent one together so we have plans to spend our 30th together in Central America just a few months after the wedding.

Austin Stensen

Groomsman

Friend from University Wisconsin Stout Austin was my partner in crime, whether it was family sporting events, trips across the country to visit friends, or the bar seat next to me. It has been fun watching Austin accept Claire as my partner, all encompassing when she skied past him while racing down the ski slopes. All he could say was "Dang Pat you found a good one".

Rachel Falk

Bridesmaid

High school Friend of Bride Rachel and I met in high school, really kicking it off as badminton partners in gym. Over the years we’ve remained close, any time I get to spend with Rachel is a treat and brings me immense joy. We both now live out west and like a lot of the same outdoor activities, the past couple years we’ve each visited the mountain towns the other is living in. It’s always a celebration whenever we see each other.

Dave Robinson

Groomsman

Best friend in Jackson, WY Dave and I met when I first moved to Jackson. He was my first official house mate when I finally found a place to call home. Coming from out of state, Dave's family became like a second family to me. Whether I'm pushing him on a bike or he's kicking my ass on the water, we both have the competitive spirt that keeps us improving. I credit my ski abilities to following Dave around the mountains.

Rachel Zimmer

Bridesmaid

College friend of Bride Rachel and I met sophomore year of college through our friend Lauren and lived together through graduation. We bonded over many things but my favorite was definitely our love of horror movies, I haven’t found a buddy to watch them with me since moving from Buffalo. This past summer Rachel came and visited me in Jackson, we had an amazing time and I think our friendship grew even stronger.

Bryce Nowaczyk

Groomsman

Friend from University Wisconsin Stout Bryce and I became enemies sophomore year college after he stole my house mascot. A few weeks later, some mutual friends introduced us and it turned out we had a lot in common. Enemies became best friends fast as we teamed up in all intramural sports and he came on all our ski trips. Bryce has been with me for many ski, bike, and fun adventures. He continues to be there for me whenever adventure calls.

Jillian Burnette

Bridesmaid

High school friend of Bride Jillian and I met in middle school but really became friends in high school. We’ve remained close, always seeing each other over holidays and big occasions when we’d both be home. A couple of summers ago Jillian visited me in Montana and it was one of the best trips of ALL time. This past year I got to stand up in Jillian’s wedding when she married one of my other good high school friends, Joey, and it was so special. I’m so excited to have her standing next to me now.

Joey Harvat

Groomsman

Cousin of Groom Joey and I were born 1 week apart, making us not only cousins but instant friends growing up. We shared many of the same interests, from skiing to lake days. I am forever thankful for our close relationship, otherwise I wouldn't have been on the ski trips that brought Claire and I together. Joey and Peter have always let me hang with them when I returned to Milwaukee for Bucks game or night out and Joey has come out to visit me every place I lived since moving away from Wisconsin.

Lauren Constantino

Bridesmaid

College friend of bride Lauren and I met freshmen year and quickly became great friends, left our roommates behind, and moved into a quad dorm with our friends Kyra and Megan. Lauren & I shared a love for watching The Office, Parks & Rec, and most importantly raising our puppies together, Koda & Lambeau. While distance has kept us apart, I’ll always cherish all the years of laughter and fun memories we have together ♥️

Emmett Van Slyke

Groomsman

Future Brother in-law of Groom I met Emmett one of the first times visiting Claire in Missoula, having dinner at his and Brynne’s house. After our first solo backcountry outing together, Emmett forgetting his boots an hour into the drive. We instantly bonded over the Begalke habits. Since then we have went on numerous ski, hike, bike, and outdoor adventure outings together. Emmett will be a brother in law and lifelong friend after the wedding.

Tyler Minix

Usher

High school friend of Bride Tyler and I were friends in high school but our older siblings, Brynne, Jake, and Kris’s relationship is what really made our friendship close as we ended up spending time with each others families and even some holidays together. This past March Tyler came and visited Patrick and I in Jackson and we had an amazing time even though I kicked his ass on the slopes :)

Rece Weisling

Usher

High school friend of Bride Rece and I met in middle school but really became friends in high school. Rece has always been someone I can count on to be there, whether it’s coming out when I’m home in Wisconsin or talking to when I’m going through a rough time. Rece is marrying his beautiful fiancé Hannah this October in Italy and I can’t wait to be there to see him marry the love of his life (and eat pasta) and am so excited he’ll be apart of my big day.

Joey Raccio

Usher

High school friend of Bride. Joey and I met and became friends in middle/high school but became closer when we worked together at Lake Terrace Clubhouse throughout high school. Joey has always been a dependable friend to me whether that was for a laugh or the multiple times I ran out of gas and he had to bring me a gallon on the side of the road in high school.

Kris Gustavsen

Usher

Norwegian brother of Bride Kris was the Begalke’s foreign exchange student from 2008-2009, over that year he really became apart of our family and now I consider him a brother. Patrick was EXTREMELY excited when over my sisters wedding in August of 23 he told Kris he was going to propose and Kris gave his approval.

Bill Harvat

Officiant

Uncle of Groom, basically second Dad of Bride From Bride: Molly and I became best friends when we were 3, so I truly do not have any memories without knowing the Harvat family. Since Molly and I were so close, Florian saw me grow up and put up with a lot of my shenanigans. Through the shenanigans, he still took Molly and I on countless outings, from Packers games and trips to the Harvat’s cabin in Waupaca to ski trips to Vail. On those trips is where I met Patrick and I will be forever grateful. I’m so excited to actually be apart of Florian’s family after the wedding, even though I’ve been treating him like a second dad since I can remember. I cannot think of a more perfect person to officiate our wedding. From Groom: My Uncle Bill and Aunt Susan and Parents must have been in sync. Myself, Joey, Peter, and Molly were all born within 2 years. Growing up Long Lake was the center of our childhood going to Nonny and Papa's for a weekend away. Boating in the summer or skiing in the winter, Billy taught me how to handle two planks under my feet. Billy let Molly bring a friend up to the lake as Joe had Peter and I to hang with, that brings Claire into our first meeting at a young age. Skip several years, on a ski trip to Vail, 2022. Claire and I reconnected, both living in the west at the time. Though there is a grey area when it comes to who crushed on who, and when. I believe Billy always knew we were meant to be.
