Claire and Patrick's story began in their childhood, intertwined through family/friend ties. Claire's best friend, Molly, happened to be Patrick's cousin, and thus, their paths frequently crossed during family gatherings. Throughout their formative years, Claire and Patrick would see each other on outings with the Harvat family. Most memorable were ski trips to the snowy wonderland of Nordic Mountain in Waupaca, WI. Little did they know, amidst the flurry of snowflakes and playful banter, a silent admiration bloomed within Patrick's heart for Claire. As the years passed, life led them on separate paths. Fate, however, had other plans. A serendipitous reunion awaited them on the slopes of Vail, Colorado, orchestrated by none other than Molly. It was on this fateful ski trip that Claire and Patrick's connection sparked to life, igniting a flame that had quietly smoldered since their childhood days. Claires heart now a blazed. Realizing their shared passion for adventure and the great outdoors, they discovered they were both residing in the western states only 5 hours from one another. With each passing day, their bond deepened, transcending miles and boundaries. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, their love only grew stronger, nourished by endless conversations, shared dreams, and cherished moments. After one year of dating long distance between Montana and Wyoming and one blissful year together in Jackson, Patrick knew the time had come to take their love to new heights. One typical backcountry ski tour to Claire and Brewer, Patrick seemed a little off set from his normal go with the flow mentality, on top of the mountain transitioning from up to down he knelt before Claire, surrounded by the majestic beauty of Wyoming mountains and asked her to be his forever. And so, their journey, which began amidst childhood innocence and snowy escapades, culminated in a promise of eternity. With joy in their hearts and anticipation in their souls, Claire and Patrick eagerly await the next chapter of their love story, united in the bond of marriage and boundless adventure that awaits.
