If you're looking to do some shopping, eating, and people watching this is the place to go! Another iconic Austin sight. We like to come down here for dessert at Amy's or Jeni's Ice Cream. Some of our favorite places to eat are Home Slice Pizza and Gueros Taco Bar. There's usually live music outside Gueros or in one of the several music venues on South Congress. Bonus: if you go around sunset, you can catch the thousands of bats come out from under the South Congress Bridge!
