If you are flying into Italy, the closest airport to Sorrento is Naples Capodichino International Airport, upon request of your hotel, a private driver can pick you up and take you to Sorrento in about one hour (depending on traffic).

Travel Note

Curreri Viaggi Shuttle Bus

The Curreri Viaggi bus departs from the Naples Capodichino airport terminal and arrives in Sorrento in a little over an hour (however please be advised it will not take you directly to your hotel). You can purchase your ticket on board for about €10. The bus stop is opposite the airport arrivals gate; buses arrive about ten minutes before every scheduled departure and there is space for luggage on board. When you arrive at the Sorrento train station you will be about a 15 minute walk to the main piazza.

Naples Stazione Centrale

If arriving at Naples Capodichino Airport you can take the regular airport shuttle bus to Naples Stazione Centrale (there is a bus every 30 minutes, the fare is only a couple Euro and the journey takes about 20 minutes depending on the traffic). The bus will drop you off at Piazza Garibaldi on the opposite side to the train station. Once at Naples Central Station, make your way to the area for departures of the "Circumvesuviana" local trains. Trains leave to Sorrento every 30/60 minutes. The journey takes about one hour and ten minutes.
