Like many modern day couples, Asia and Brian met on a dating app which led to a first date of sorts at a bar in Brian's hometown of Washington Twp, NJ. While there, a live band was playing, so they could barely hear each other. They took a risk and decided to leave the bar, to drive around and get to know each other better. During that drive, they talked about their mutual love of music, family, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Before they knew it, it was 5:30 in the morning! As Brian dropped Asia back off at her car, they quickly made plans to hangout again. This turned into three to four dates a week and their journey began!

After a weekend trip to Atlanta in January, to visit Brian's extended family, Brian realized that it was time to pop the question. He had known he wanted to do this for a while, but seeing how seamlessly Asia fit in with his side of the family, really cemented these feelings. Brian spoke to Asia's parents to get their blessing. After that, he enlisted the help of Dana to get a ring size. (Which if you know Asia, she almost never wears rings so this was a bit of a challenge, but Dana did well!) The Eagles had become such a big part of their lives, that Brian wanted to ask Asia on Broad St, after they won the Super Bowl! Some say that Brian jinxed it. We still think that it was Jonathan Gannon and Special Teams. After the devastating loss, Brian was determined to make the best of it. He grabbed a bottle of Prosecco and they headed to the top floor of the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. While admiring their panoramic view of the city, Brian proposed! They celebrated by drinking Prosecco and eating Taco Bell! (GO BIRDS)
