Samantha met Amanda at a Rugby party Freshman year at Alabama. The friendship began when Samantha, trying to make Amanda feel included in the insanity that was a rugby party, gave her a lap dance (It was all PG-13 fun). After that night, they knew that had found a kindred soul within one another; their "person(s)' if you will. They continued their friendship throughout school as best friends, roommates, and partners in crime. Only ever separated by Amanda's insatiable Wanderlust - until graduation, when Samantha moved back to New Jersey and Amanda, after a 2 year extended stay in Argentina, moved back to North Carolina. They still try to see each other at least 1x a year (which is never enough!) Samantha couldn't imagine not having Amanda by her side on her wedding day!
Scott Konkowski
Best Man
Brian met Scott February of 1990. Brian spent the first 12 years of Scott's life torturing him, physically dominating his younger brother. On the rare occasion Scott was able to best his older brother he would be locked in the basement. Brian & Scott bickered through early childhood but became closer in High School, sharing groups of friends and great times together. Scott followed Brian to Rutgers and into the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity becoming brother "brothers" and even better friends. Brian admires Scott for his sense of humor, & has always looked up to him (not just because of height). Scott is an amazing brother, uncle & father. Brian was honored to be Scott's Best Man when he married his wonderful wife Hollyn & is excited to have Scott return the favor on his wedding day.
Audrey Demirjian

Audrey & Samantha met their senior year of High School. Audrey was a new student & Samantha was an overzealous new student ambassador. It was a likely friendship based on mutual love of football & a bi-lingual mastery of English and sarcasm. After graduation, Audrey & Samantha remained close friends. Audrey spent many afternoons in Samantha's backyard eating onion dip, drinking frozen concoctions & watching movies. Audrey also had met Brian BEFORE Samantha had... In fact she had invited her to a NYE party Brian would be at 6 months before they met. Since that day, Audrey has been Samantha & Brian's favorite 3rd wheel. Samantha is totes excited to have Audrey by her side on her special day! After all - "She's my friend because we both know what it's like to have people be jealous of us."
Gary Stefanski

Brian & Gary were classmates in 5th grade. It was not an instant friendship. In fact, Brian hated Gary... like really hated him. It took another year in the same class, a partner project entailing a song about Saskatchewan, & Gary being close-lined by a girl named Monica Chinn during this performance, for their friendship to begin. Once fierce rivals, these best friends began to wreak havoc on Montgomery as the leaders of the "Monty Jungle". They would drive around nightly looking for trouble & spent countless time at Gary's Beach House- which would become a safe haven for Brian to spend his parenting time with Dylan in the early stages of his life. Brian was honored to be Gary's co-best man when he married his lovely wife Sarah & is excited to have him by his side on his wedding day
Brenna Sprella
Bridesmaid
Samantha met Brenna when she began her job at TRU Salon + Spa and they hit it off right away! Brenna is an incredibly bubbly girl who shares Samantha's love of 90s music, pasta, Harry Potter, and making fun of everyone (including themselves). Samantha always looked forward to days where she would be working with Brenna and missed her terribly when she got her job in the city and had to leave TRU behind. Due to their crazy work schedules, Samantha doesn't get to see Brenna very often but thanks to texting, snap chatting and quick phone calls while enroute to the train station, it's as if they're still sitting next to each other on broken stools waiting for the next interruption to their conversation. Samantha is thrilled to have her favorite squirrel-friend with her on her wedding day!
Karl Freemyer

Brian has known Karl since the fall of 2006, when they were randomly paired as roommates for Freshman year at Rutgers University. Often times, tales of freshman roommates are horror stories but this was an instant connection and their friendship blossomed into a brotherhood... literally, They are both members of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, and Karl is actually Brian's "Big" Brother (in the fraternity). Brian and Karl have ridden the roller coaster that is Rutgers football from the glory of 2006 to today. They are both still season ticket holders and commiserate together at the games. Brian had the honor of being Karl's Best Man in his 2011 Wedding to his beautiful wife Jess and Brian is now excited to share the occasion of his own wedding with his friend by his side as a groomsmen.
Hollyn Konkowski

Hollyn & Samantha met thanks to their choice of men, they both fell for Konkowski boys. Hollyn is Brian's Sister-in-law and wonderful mother of his 1 year old nephew Jackson. Samantha liked Hollyn pretty immediately. She is incredibly warm, friendly, and has one of the best smiles in all of the Garden State (seriously, it's measured in kilowatts). Aside from choosing men from the same family to spend their lives with, Samantha & Hollyn have a lot in common. They both enjoy crafty/DIY projects, love dogs and kids, and never enter a party without a homemade treat in tow. Samantha is thankful to have gained an amazing friend like Hollyn and is thrilled to have her as a sister-in-law and bridesmaid!
Brian Scasserra

The Brians met during elementary school at summer camp. They became fast friends, playing sports & hanging out all day during the summers growing up. They briefly shared the spotlight at the Camp talent show, making all the young ladies swoon with their rendition of It's Gonna Be Me by N*SYNC. Brian S was Justin Timberlake & Brian K was a back up dancer. To no surprise, they won first place! The Brians remained best friends throughout high school, going to Hockey games together & driving all over Montgomery township into the wee hours of the morning. Brian S attended Syracuse University where Brian K visited a number of times. Brian S now lives in Boston with his lovely wife Meghan. Brian K is thrilled to have Brian S return the groomsmen favor and to see his old band mate again!
Jackie Konkowski

Jackie is the first member of the Konkowski family that Samantha officially met. It was a brief hello through a doorway when Samantha went over to Brian's house to hang out in the early stages of their dating. But, Samantha's true first memory with Jackie is aiding her in getting the perfect shot of her bright pink flamingo pool float for Instagram. Jackie's love and devotion to her family knows no bounds. Samantha has always admired that about her as well as her tenacity & sharp sense of humor. Samantha is very happy to have Jackie as a friend and to continue to build that friendship. She always wanted a little sister and she is so excited to be gaining Jackie as a sister-in-law and is honored that they will start that journey with Jackie by her side on Samantha & Brian's special day!
Russ Salvatore

Brian and Russ's friendship began this one time, at summer camp... Montgomery Rec-N-Crew Camp to be exact. As camp counselors they were responsible for entertaining and supervising the youth of their town but ended up forming a lasting friendship, with many stories of the old camp days to tell. Russ also attended Rutgers University beginning fall of 2009 and joined Brian's Fraternity (making them brothers). Brian and Russ have maintained a close friendship since college, enjoying Rutgers, Giants, and Devils games together (as much as you could enjoy them). Russ was ditched by Brian for his first date with Sam, but he was gracious and Sam is thankful for his sacrifice and friendship. Brian is excited to have one of his oldest friends (& favorite sushi date) by his side on his wedding day.
Ryan Henritzy

Brian and Ryan are 5 years apart but are as close as cousins can be. Brian's still remembers trips to AC with their families and Ryan sprinting across the lobby for a hug as soon as Brian came into view. Safe to say Brian was Ryan's favorite. Although the favorite has changed year-over-year, they remained strong friends with a rock solid bond that only cousin's could share. Brian and Ryan enjoy discussing college football, playful (sometimes hostile) banter as Giants and Eagles fans, and will "LINE EM UP!" by the pool from time to time. They often get together for rounds of golf and appreciate each others company at family holidays and events. Brian is very excited to have his cousin by his side on his wedding day and looks forward to lining them up at the reception!
Scott "Buck" Vogelsang

Brian met Scotty the summer of 2016 early in his and Samantha's relationship. They instantly bonded over college football and video games. Brian and Samantha visited Scotty down in Alabama for a football game and were both present for his graduation the spring of 2017. Samantha, Brian and Dylan also visited Scotty when he was working in Disney World Spring of 2018. Scotty showed them a great time in the parks and they are excited to return together soon! Brian already has a younger brother named Scott, but one more couldn't hurt! Luckily, Scotty has graciously accepted the loss of his first name priviledge and will affectionately be known as Uncle Buck (childhood nickname - happy coincidence with the movie) to Dylan and future children of Brian and Samantha.
Dylan Sloan-Konkowski
Ring Bearer
Dylan is Brian's 5 year old son. He is a sassy but loving boy with all the imagination in the world. He is very brave & strong, having faced much adversity in his young life & overcoming every obstacle in his way. Dylan first met Sam in August of 2016, when he was 2 & they have formed an incredibly close bond. As a trio they enjoy spending time together, playing with Addy Girl & Denny (Brian & Sam's dogs), going to Rutgers games to see the Scarlet Knight, & going on train adventures. Brian & Samantha couldn't imagine their wedding day without Dylan. He is Brian's best friend & Samantha's favorite pickle! Samantha is thrilled to add the title of wicked-cool-step-mom alongside wife when she marries Brian, & Brian is excited for Dylan to have Sam is his life & to be one big happy family!
