It all started when a military raised girl born in Florida, living in Iceland, Italy, Germany and England moved to Texas and met a country boy who grew up in Madisonville, Texas. Amber had walked into the bar to get an after work drink on a Friday and catch up with her friend who was bartending that afternoon. When she walked in she noticed this cute guy sitting on the edge of the bar. Knowing her awkward self she knew to sit across the entire bar before she could ruin anything. The bartenders were about to switch shifts so the girl had closed out and had plans to go buy plants for her balcony oasis. The next thing she knew that cute guy at the edge of the bar, he was now behind the bar. So the best decision to do was open up a new tab and begin a conversation with the now cute bartender, Bobby. The minutes and hours just passed by as they engaged in conversations about the Chicago Cubs and the Houston Astros. Leading to the Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys, which meant crap talking was in full effect. At that time she had an Uber to take her to meet up with some friends at the square in San Marcos. So she had closed her tab and he said to her, “I work here at creekside on Saturdays and I work the downtown location Sunday then the rest of the week is the Cibolo location.” A week and a half passed by then that same girl on a Sunday was walking past the downtown location unsure to walk in or not. She had built up the courage to walk through the door and she heard his voice, “Hey Amber, you want a dos with salt and lime?” All of that is the reason why we have the huge celebration of love happening on December 31, 2023.
