FAQs

If you want more information about our big day, please refer to this section for answers to common questions. We want to ensure you have everything you need to know to enjoy our celebration!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 1st. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you cannot make it and will not include you in our final headcounts.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal- think of wearing your Sunday best! We kindly ask that you avoid jeans and colors traditionally reserved for the bride (whites, ivories, and creams). And our main wedding color is dusty blue! The ceremony will be held in a covered open-air chapel, and the following reception will be indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive by 3:30 pm, or at least 30 minutes before the ceremony, to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There will be no alcoholic beverages served.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We ask that you take this opportunity to enjoy a kid-free date night! If you're unable to do so, please note that there will be chairs provided for children, however, there will be no booster seats or high chairs provided. And, due to space at the venue, we also ask that you leave strollers at home.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We compiled our guest list based on people who are near and dear to our hearts. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from using your cell phones during our ceremony. We have hired amazing photographers and a content creator, and we will share all the pictures and videos taken during our wedding ceremony with you! However, please share your "post-ceremony" photos and videos with us - we would love to look back on the celebrations!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be a parking available in front of the venue and parking attendants will be present to help guide you to the ceremony. If there are mobility issues, you will be able to circle in front of the venue at the paved walkway to do a dropoff before finding parking.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will have hors d'oeuvres and refreshments passed around between our ceremony and reception while we take our photos. We invite you to play games, socialize, eat food, and have fun during this time! For dinner, guests will have the choice of beef or chicken with bread rolls, sides, and a salad. And, of course, there will be dessert!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

If you or your guest have a dietary restriction, please inform us in your RSVP so we can notify our catering staff. You will be able to request your special dietary meal to the staff when you get up to the buffet bar and they will bring your specialized plate (no cross-contamination). We will also be providing delicious gluten-free and dairy-free cupcakes for dessert!

Question

Is the ceremony or reception outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be in an "open-air chapel," a covered seating area with open sides. The reception is right next door and fully indoors! And, weather dependent, our social hour will be held outside on the patio.

Question

Who can I contact with questions or concerns?

Answer

Please contact Denise Boyette, the mother of the bride, at 919-369-6923.
