Covington is so special to us because it is here that we will begin our lives together as husband and wife! Located in Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati, Covington is home to some of the cutest brunch spots, Braxton Brewery, MainStrasse Village -- a faux-German village filled with restaurants and bars, and of course, the beautiful Hotel Covington. A few of our favorite spots are Commonwealth Bistro for brunch, Keystone Bar and Grille for some of the best mac n'cheese, Braxton Brewery for some local brews, The Hannaford for cocktails and of course Coppin's at Hotel Covington for dinner!
Downtown Cincinnati is just a short trip across the river or a very beautiful walk (or ride on a Cincy Red Bike!) over the Roebling Bridge from Covington. Cincinnati's riverfront is home to The Banks, a great strip of great restaurants and bars, and the beautiful Smale Park which is so special to us as this is where we got engaged! Just North of the Banks, in the heart of Downtown is the Cincinnati Contemporary Art Museum, Nada for great margaritas and Mexican fare and the beautiful 21c Museum Hotel, Spa and Rooftop Bar.
Cincinnati's trendiest neighborhood located just North of downtown with over six blocks of shopping, amazing dining and unique bars! Over-the-Rhine, known as OTR, is home to a few of our favorite spots including Taste of Belgium and LouVino for brunch, Krueger's Tavern for lunch and rooftop drinking, Sundry and Vice for cocktails, Zula Bistro for dinner and Cincinnati's famous Grater's Ice Cream for dessert! Also located in Over-the-Rhine is Washington Park, Findlay Market -- Ohio's oldest public market, Rhinegeist Brewery and our favorite donuts in town -- Holtman's Donuts!
