Tyler spent months planning the perfect proposal which even meant delaying the big question from April to June. Two weeks leading up to the proposal, Katie and Tyler spent a week in California which included the most beautiful 17-mile drive from Monterey Bay to Pebble Beach and then to Big Sur. Between the most breathtaking views, the cutest little convertible and Tyler's ever-so-tricky antics, he made it his mission to trick Katie into thinking he may just propose right there in California. In true Tyler like fashion, he had an even more better plan up his sleeve... Fast forward to Saturday, June 2nd. Katie and Tyler spent the day doing yet another home renovation project with plans to meet friends for dinner at The Banks that evening. Katie suggested getting a drink at the AC Rooftop Bar while waiting for a table but their friends suggested walking to the park for photos. To Smale Park they went... What Katie didn't know is that Tyler had planned the most perfect evening to propose in front of the Roebling Bridge while having all of their family and friends watch from the AC Hotel patio. Their friends asked if they wanted a photo; Katie said no -- for maybe the first time ever, and Tyler said yes -- for definitely the first time ever. With that they took a photo which led to Tyler on his knee. Tyler asked Katie to spend her life with him eating donuts (at least that's what she thinks he said) and Katie said YES! They spent the rest of the night sipping on bubbly, eating tacos and celebrating with the best family and friends! It was perfect.
