What is the Dress Code for the Wedding?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and undeniably you. The dress code is dressy casual or traditional African attire. For women, think sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels and for men a light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations at our venue, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we respectfully ask our guests to only bring a plus one if they are specifically named on the invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations at our venue, we are only able to accommodate a specific number of people. Please refer to the guest count on your invitation to see if your children are included and note that children under two are not listed to RSVP for, but they are invited to attend.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there will be parking at our venue.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate any dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have included several recommendations in the Travel section of our website. Please check there for more information. 1/29/25: Note that the hotel block at the Hampton Inn is now full but you can still try calling them directly to ask if they will honor/match the Marin/Bankole room rate. Some guests have had success with this approach.
