Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests leave their little ones at home. We love your children, but unfortunately the venue does not allow children outside of the wedding party. Please take this opportunity to enjoy this adult event, let loose, and party with the bride and groom!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire/Black Tie! Though going out and renting a suit is not necessary, please dress your best. The bride and groom will be cherishing these photos for many decades to come. Gowns and ties suggested. Guest should NOT wear white, jeans, or sneakers.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t have all of our lovely guests bring an additional guest of their own. Therefore, we ask everyone to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Should I bring cash?

Answer

We will have a bar available for guest to purchase drinks throughout the night. The bar does accept card or cash for payment. Though it is suggested to bring cash if you would like to tip the bartenders or participate in the "Dollar Dance". This is a tradition where guest line up and take turns dancing with the bride or groom. The guest will donate any desired amount to dance with the bride or groom. This money goes towards the bride and groom building costs for their home.

May I take pictures & videos?

Answer

If you would like to take pictures, please leave this for after the ceremony. We will be having an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be present during such a special moment in our lives. We have hired an incredible photographer to capture the moment for you. We will have a charging station during the reception for anyone in need.

Is the venue/ ceremony location handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes of course. The parking lot is located very closely to the cocktail hour and reception location. The venue will provide rides on a golf cart to the ceremony site for those who cannot walk the trail into the woods.

Is there a smoking section?

Answer

Yes. The venue has a very strict policy around keeping all smoking to the designated area near the parking lot. Please respect this and simply access this area as needed. It is located not far from the barn.
