The haldi ceremony, a vibrant pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings, signifies blessings, purification, and beauty for the bride and groom. It involves applying a paste of turmeric (haldi) to the couple's skin which is believed to ward off evil, purify, and bring a radiant glow. The ceremony also fosters family unity and joy. Marital advice is also welcomed :)

After the Haldi ceremony, we will fire up the grills and celebrate one another’s families. The villa has tons of games to play and a pool/hot tub to enjoy as well!

A mehndi (henna) expert will be present from 4-6pm. Henna is mainly used in celebration of weddings and in the joyous gathering of people. The henna paste symbolizes good health and prosperity in marriage. In some cultures, the darker the henna stain, the deeper the love between two individuals.
