How do I RSVP?

Answer

We would like to try to keep all RSVP's online to make it easier for us. If you cannot RSVP via the QR code or website link you can email Leahberchick@gmail.com

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like all RSVP's by September 1st 2025. This gives us time to catch up on people who may have missed the deadline and get our numbers for the venue and catering in on time.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

This is a night out for adults only! Kids will not be allowed unless specially invited by us.

Are there any hotel Accommodations?

Answer

We do not have any specific hotels blocked for our wedding. However, Indian Lake Lodge has rooms you can book for the weekend of our wedding. It is first come first serve to get a room if you need. Please see the travel tab on our website for more details and their website link. You can also try looking for Airbnb's in the area or other hotels in the Richland or Somerset areas. Most that I have searched are the same distances to the venue.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location in Central City, PA. Indian Lake Lodge is a restaurant as well, so there will be several doors to chose to go into; the best thing to do is follow our signage we will have posted at the main doors for the Thunderbird Room which is the reception room. Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather pending. The ceremony is on a beautiful covered deck looking at the scenery of Indian Lake. The deck has a roof and is located right off of the reception area. If it is cold we will have a few heaters, but dress accordingly. If the weather is a disaster we will move the ceremony into the reception space.

Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal Attire/Cocktail Attire The main color scheme is black, grey, ivory with gold and red accents. Bridesmaids are in black velvet and groomsmen are in grey and black tuxes. What are the bridesmaids and groomsmens wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaid will be in long black velvet dresses. The groomsmen will be in grey and black tuxes.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

The envelope for the invite will specifically say if you can have a plus one or not. Because of the limited number of guests we can fit into the venue we tried our best to give a fair amount of plus ones. When RSVPing on our website it is already generated with the amount of people on the guest list so you cannot add anyone randomly.

Food served at the wedding?

Answer

We are having Anthony's cater the dinner at our wedding. We will also have a cocktail hour where we will have food out, as well. We will have two meat options, pasta, veggies, and salad served at dinner.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar from 4pm-9pm. It will be closed during dinner so that the staff will be able to have a break as well. Indian Lake Lodge is also a fabulous restaurant/bar if after the wedding is over and anyone would like more drinks or food the bar is open until 11:00 this will be your responsibility to pay for and the staff has every right not to serve you if they feel that is necessary.

Alcohol Rules?

Answer

This is an open bar wedding until 9pm; the bar for the restaurant is open until 11pm and is where the after party will be held. This wedding is not BYOB due to PLCB Liquor Laws!! Please be respectful of the venues rules and regulations. They have the right to serve you or not. You need your ID to get a drink no matter who you are or how old you are.

Are there places to stay for the wedding?

Answer

You can book lodging at Indian Lake Lodge's website for the weekend of our wedding if you prefer to stay. This might be a great choice so people do not drink and drive!!! There is also several hotels in the area if you google search.

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely not. We have amazing professionals doing that for us; there will be plenty of time after the ceremony to bring phones out. So sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful moment. My wonderful bridesmaids will be making sure no one has their phone out during the ceremony. Phones should also be silenced.

Bridal Shower Info

Answer

- This is a display shower meaning all gifts will be left unwrapped and put on display for everyone to see, please make sure you put your name on the gift. -We are not asking for many gifts as we already live together, if you still feel the need to buy us a gift we created a wedding registry through Amazon. - A monetary gift for our honeymoon or house renovations would be the best idea. - The Shower starts at 1:00, we will be serving snacks, lunch, desserts and drinks.
