Casual to semi-formal attire. In other words, wear what makes you comfortable! We don't care if you come in a suit or a t-shirt. We are just happy to have you there! *Note: Melhorn Manor requires shoes at all times in the barn. Wear or bring along a pair of comfy shoes!*
We recommend that you arrive about twenty minutes before the start of the ceremony. There are ample paved parking spaces for all of our guests. Employees will direct you to the appropriate lot. Handicap spaces are available for our family and friends who may need them.
The party will officially end at 10:30 pm. We will be doing a sparkler send-off a few minutes prior.
Because most guests live within an hour of the venue, we will not be booking a hotel block. However, there are hotels nearby if you are coming from farther away, or prefer to not drive home. Here are a few options: Holiday Inn Lancaster - Mount Joy; Hampton Inn Mount Joy/Lancaster West; Best Western Elizabethtown Hershey.
We will be having an open bar with a limited selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. *Note: We want you to have fun, but also stay safe. If you plan on drinking, please make ride arrangements. If you stay at one of the hotel options above, an uber ride is about $10*
We will be serving light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a classic American buffet dinner and dessert. We will also be providing s'mores as a late night snack. *Note: If you have any dietary restrictions that we should be aware of, please let us know via your online RSVP or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org*
The sooner, the better! Kindly RSVP no later than April 15, 2023.
Unfortunately, due to venue capacity, plus ones will not be permitted. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Rain or shine, we will have a good time! We plan to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception inside the main barn. However, there is also a secondary barn where we will hold our ceremony in the case of inclement weather.
Your presence on our special day is a gift in itself! However, if you want to send or bring additional gifts, you may. There will be a card & gift table at the venue, in addition to the ability to ship gifts directly to us via our registry.
During the ceremony, we request that phones and cameras be put away. However, any time before or after we walk down the aisle, we encourage guests to take and post pictures for us! Our only request is that you use our wedding hashtag #becomingbeistlines so we can see all of your pictures.
