Tamarindo
Tamarindo is only 30 minutes from the resort and recommended by all the locals! Restaurants/bars, shops, live music etc. The Westin can help set up a taxi for you if you are interested! Uber not recommended.
Ziplining, ATVs, Whitewater Rafting, & Touring Costa Rica!
We highly recommend ziplining if you get the chance :) The company we used is called Swiss Travel Costa Rica, and they have people at the resort to help you set up activities! They also offer multiple tours, whitewater rafting, and ATV riding. These have to be booked at least 24 hours in advance. If you really want to do it, I would book this at check-in!

The resort spa is luxurious- please treat yourself!
The Imperial Bar
The Imperial Bar is the late-night spot on resort property for everyone that wants to keep going after dinner! They usually have a DJ or live music!
