Veronica and I are teaching partners. We were lucky enough to find each other through this amazing profession and then through that became friends. She has been a lifesaver through this journey and I am so lucky and grateful to call her my friend.

I met Emily at my very first teaching job in Rainier. She was a great source of information, support and comfort. She showed me how to persevere through tough teaching situations and became one of my close friends. I still look to her for advice and support but now...throughout my life, not just in the classroom.

Christina was my partner in crime throughout my time at Concordia working my way to becoming a teacher. She has the most optimistic and caring personality. She is always there when you need her. She has been and will always be someone who I know I can trust 100%.

Korie and I were in Spanish 2 together in High School and became friends. We lost touch after high school and reunited in 2011, I believe. We've had so many adventures from my first tattoo to 5k fun runs and brewfests! She takes care of me and will forever be my schwife!

My dearest "niece"! Isobel changed my whole world. I fell in love with her and never stopped. She has the brightest personality. She is so fun loving and has a free spirit. I love her so much and I have waited a long time to have her by my side in my wedding.
Father of the Bride
The Bride's father. Her biggest support and hero since childhood. He has stood by her during every moment in her life. Ron helped her become the person she is today.
Mother of the Bride
Tamera is the Bride's step-mom. She is a fellow teacher and wonderful human. She gained new children when marrying the Bride's father. She has been a great support since becoming a part of the family. Tamera enjoys sunny days in the garden and traveling.
Mother of the Groom
Michelle is Erik's mother. She recently retired from work as a school psychologist and is now enjoying spending more time in her garden and with Rodney, Kirsten, Cisco and Natalia in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Family patriarch and pie-baker extraordinaire, Rodney is always up for a game of cribbage whenever he is not creating something in his woodworking shop.

Kevin is the Bride's younger brother and best friend. He is a man of few words but he can always be counted on when he is needed.

Livi is the Bride's first niece. She is a bubbly, strong, beautiful independent girl! She's always up for an adventure and enjoys helping out.

Kinsley is the niece of the Bride. She is an active and adventurous kiddo! Some of her favorite things to do with the bride is different forms of gymnastics and collecting rocks.

The Bride's youngets niece. Remi is a loving and cuddly one going on two year old. Being a quarantine baby has meant that she hasn't gotten a lot of family time yet. She is the sweetest girl.

Erik's nine-year-old niece who loves geography and world history and has been preparing for her first-ever cross country trip since the day after Erik proposed.

Everett is the Bride's only nephew. He is vivacious and loving. Everett enjoys playing with his sister, Livi and being outdoors.

Erik's seven-year-old nephew who loves legos and Hot Wheels. He mistakenly understood "Ring Bearer" as the "Ring Burrier" and asked where he was supposed to bury our ring at the wedding. Luckily he has had some time to learn what real ring bearers do and is ready to faithfully carry out his duties at our wedding this summer!

Erik's sister and Natalia and Cisco's mom, and now a legit clergywoman to boot! She is super excited for her first visit to see our new home in Oregon and honored to officiate this, her first wedding.

Beccah has known the bride since she was 12. They have spent many years collecting memories together including travels, holidays and summer nights. She is so excited and honored to be a part of the wedding day.
