Erik and I met through unlikely means. We never expected Tinder to be the place where we would find our forever! Erik was born and raised in Ohio. He moved out to Oregon to attend college at Lewis and Clark. He graduated and started working in the computer programming field. I was born and raised in Oregon. I attended college at Concordia University. I graduated with my education degree and have been a teacher ever since. We both joined tinder and had gone on several dates while searching for each other. I first saw his profile and was immediately attracted to his fun loving bio and his deep dish dimples. I messaged him and got a few responses before he vanished for 3 months. He eventually got back to me and asked me on a date. We met for coffee in Hillsboro in September of 2019. From September on, we talked everyday. We went on several more dates and became official on October 21, 2019, 4 days before my birthday! Things progressed quickly from there. He met my parents and family on my birthday and I met his on New Years. It took us a year and we were moving in together in a duplex in Scappoose. It didn't take long for Erik to start looking for a home in Columbia County. We went through several until we found it. Our 5 acre farmhouse dream come true. Erik went through the process of purchasing it and on our first day as owners of this beautiful home, he proposed. On April 15, Erik asked me to marry him on the threshold of our forever home. He actually asked me to marry them, meaning himself and our beloved fur baby Morgan. We have been settling into our home and planning our wedding ever since.
