Things To Do

Sunset Rock

Sunset Rock

314 W Brow Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37409

Short 2-3 minute hike down a set of steps with very little uneven terrain. Great for beginners who want beautiful views without a 2-3 hour hike. Overlooks west Chattanooga and the Tennessee River. Parking is sometimes limited so I would go early if you are actually hoping to catch sunset. Just minutes from Sunset Rock you can find Point Park which has ample parking and beautiful views, as well. They do charge a small entrance fee at certain times.

Walnut Street Bridge

Walnut Street Bridge

1 Walnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403

Pedestrian bridge closed to automobile traffic that has great views of Chattanooga and crosses over the Tennessee River. Connects the NorthShore, with boutiques and shops, to Downtown Chattanooga, with restaurants and tourists attractions.

Coolidge Park

Coolidge Park

150 River Street, Chattanooga, TN 37405
, (423) 643-6311

The list wouldn't be complete without including the place where Ryan proposed! This park has always been one of our favorite places for a short walk by the river. The park is located on the Northshore side just steps away from Walnut Street Bridge.

Rock City ($)

Rock City ($)

1400 Patten Road, Lookout Mountain, GA 30750

Very popular Chattanooga tourist destination, especially during the fall when leaves are changing colors. Great views for the whole family to enjoy.
