Lauren and Jes met in Chicago and has been a true friend in the best and worst of times. Distance doesn't change their friendship--and Jes couldn't be more grateful for her. *Fun fact: Jes was there when Lauren ran into her now husband. And they both visited her home when she lived in Greece!

Adam and Zack met while Zack was with his National Guard unit in Johnson City, Tennessee, and became good friends while working on staff for the unit. They could often be seen hanging around Southern Craft in Johnson City, TN after drill.

Katy and Jes met at a Friends of L'Abri dinner two-and-a-half years ago after they'd both just moved back from living abroad. Katy has just been the best authentic, honest, fun, and encouraging friend who has been a great shoulder to lean on, cry with, and laugh hysterically together. *Fun fact: Jes helped plan Katy's engagement party (and threw her off the scent when she began to suspect her now husband was proposing). She did the same for Jes. Jes was also present when Katy met her now husband!

When Zack first arrived at his National Guard unit in Johnson City, TN, years ago, one of the first people he met was Logan. Zack shared Logan's sharp wit, dry sense of humor, and love for history and leadership, and their friendship has remained in the many years since.

Jes met Julia through new friends when she moved back to Nashville, connecting at first over how we both thought a game being played by the group was dumb. Since then, Julia's been a dear friend who loves all things music, encourages Jes artistically and with huge emotional intelligence and wisdom. She is authentic, genuine, reliable, thoughtful and so fun.

Mikel came to the unit in Johnson City, TN, not long after Zack arrived. They soon served together on staff, Mikel in operations and Zack in communications/signal. They have worked well together for years since, and Zack appreciates Mikel's dedication to his work, his family, and their mutual taste for whiskey.

Ann is wise, true, funny and compassionate. Jes knew in her gut that Ann would be a dear friend when they met in Nashville after she returned from Greece. Ann speaks truth in love and is a treasure.

T.J. is Zack's first cousin on his mother's side. Growing up, Zack and T.J. were inseparable as they spent many weeks during the summer and at holiday gatherings playing outside, swimming, and trying to beat each other in Playstation games.

Mackenzi is the best sister-in-law a girl could hope for. She has Jes laughing most of the time, has been open, encouraging, and supportive. She is loyal and loves her brother and niece so well. Jes feels lucky to call her family.

Alex is Zack's first cousin on his father's side, and they both grew up hanging while camping with their grandmother. Alex and his wife just recently welcomed their first child into the world, and Zack and Jes could not be more delighted they will be a part of their special day!
