What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal. We hope that our guests will take the opportunity to dress up and celebrate. We are taking advantage of the beauty that spring has to offer in New Hampshire. For men we would suggest suits or pants with a sport coat or blazer and a tie. If you have a tuxedo that you have been dying to wear this could also be the moment. For ladies we suggest dresses or pant suits. Pastels and florals would be beautiful for this time of year. If you like to dress up this could be your time to shine. The bride and groom will be wearing a tuxedo and a formal gown. At the end of the day we just want everyone to come and feel comfortable and celebrate, wear what makes you feel fun and festive. We know that when we are invited to weddings we like to have an idea of what we should wear so that is why we are providing details.

Are Children Invited?

This is an adults only event. We enjoy all of the children in our life but are hosting a child free celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are included with invitations and can be added when RSVPing.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

This event will be open bar, we look forward to a weekend of celebration with all of our guests.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We're not. We are looking forward to a weekend celebrating with our closest friends and family. The best gift we could ask for is a memorable weekend filled with love and celebration.

Is there parking available on site?

Answer

There is ample parking available at the venue for all of our guests. Parking is free of charge.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We absolutely understand and please know that you will be missed. Please decline the RSVP if you are unable to attend.

What if I don't RSVP?

Answer

We do require that all of our guests RSVP to ensure that we have an accurate guest count. If we do not receive an RSVP we will assume that you have declined the invitation.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

May weather in New Hampshire can be unpredictable. We recommend packing for the potential of warm and cool evenings. We will be in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire, located in the northern part of the state and at a higher elevation. The average temperature in May for the area is a high of 66 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 44 degrees Fahrenheit.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting we are planning for an outdoor vow renewal ceremony, a tented dinner, and ending the night indoors for dancing.

Is there a block of hotel rooms reserved?

Answer

We have reserved all of the available lodging on site at The Preserve at Chocorua for our guests. We have 30 double occupancy rooms available on site for guests to rent. We hope that our guests will take advantage of the on site lodging option. We do not have a hotel block reserved at any other area hotels. There are a large number of hotels in North Conway, NH that are within 30 minutes of the venue. There are also a large number of AirBnB rentals available in the Tamworth, NH or North Conway, NH area for guests that prefer that type of lodging.

Am I allowed to take photos at the event?

Answer

We ask that during the ceremony guests refrain from taking photos. We will have a photographer at the event and she can capture photos from the ceremony for us. Aside from the ceremony please feel free to take any pictures that you want to document the weekend.

The location for all of the festivities for the weekend is The Preserve at Chocorua. 88 Philbrick Neighborhood Road Tamworth, New Hampshire 03886

What is there to do in the area?

Answer

Tamworth, New Hampshire is located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The White Mountain National Forrest is near by and offers a variety of hikes, scenic drives, and activities. North Conway, New Hampshire is located nearby and offers a variety of restaurants and shopping. You can find some of our suggestions under the Things to Do section.
