In all reality neither of us remember the first time we met (we were little kids). However we both remember the beginning of our love story. It was the covid times and we reconnected online. We matched on Hinge and several months later Lauren found Trevor on Facebook and sparked up a conversation. Lauren came over to Trevor's spartanly decorated house and he cooked her steak and boxed rice for dinner. After that we watched too many movies, Trevor was gentlemanly and gave Lauren the recliner while he sat on a kitchen chair. Over the next weeks and months we bonded over home cooked meals, hikes and movies sharing the too small recliner. Trevor met Lauren's cats (Toby and Maggie) and dogs (Bailey and Zoey) and we upgraded from a recliner to a loveseat. We continued to explore our shared love of good food and adventures while also spending countless hours in the car for Trevor's Lumberjack adventures (Trevor had to learn to account for stops along the way). We also survived an August drive to Florida in a car with no AC ( not recommended). Our love blossomed as we supported each other through career changes and home renovations. While always finding time for a good meal or weekend adventure. Trevor proposed with a cozy fire and a bottle of bubbly on a snow covered trail behind his parent’s farm. Although he may have given away the surprise by telling Lauren to dress for Snowshoeing, a night out and to play board games all at once, it was still a magical moment. We were married on a gorgeous October day on Trevor's family farm surrounded by fields, foliage and some steers. Our reception will be a fun filled weekend to be shared with friends and family. We can't wait to share our happiness and humor with everyone as we celebrate getting to spend the rest of our lives together.
