There are cottages, cabins, and rooms in the Inn at Kanuga. We have a mixture of everything available, and it just depends what you'd like- families, we'd recommend getting a cabin, and couples could get a room in the Inn. The Inn was renovated in 2016, and features hotel style rooms with private bathrooms. Most rooms have patios or balconies. Every floor includes a spacious lounge with a fireplace. Each of the Cottages features a porch, a living room with a fireplace and plenty of charm. These fully-winterized cottages range in size from two to six bedrooms. Most bedrooms have two beds and private baths.
- 24-hour coffee and tea service - WiFi - Use of the 1,400 acre facility, including the scenic Kanuga Lake - Recreational facilities (hiking/walking trails, fishing, tennis courts, etc.) - Dozens of quiet spaces and places to visit scattered around the campus
- Rooms will provide soap, but you should bring your own shampoo and/or conditioner - If you need a hairdryer, you should bring that too - The Lodge has 24 hr coffee access, but if you drink a lot of coffee, you might want to bring a yeti, or carafe to lug more coffee with you so you're not going back and forth. - Depending on the weather, you may want to bring a swimsuit- the lake is a great spot to spend the early afternoon!
All events and private gatherings in common areas, public areas and grounds must respect Kanuga’s campuswide 11:00 p.m. quiet hour. That doesn't mean you can't have a post-wedding or dinner party in your cottage or room. Just make sure, if you're in a room in the Inn, it's tame enough to not anger your neighbors. PS- The Bride and Groom are probably going to host an after party in their cottage or in a guest house- we'll keep you posted!
