We love the MFA! Houston MFA is across the street from the church and is an excellent place to visit if you have time. Their collections are extensive; you could easily make a day of your visit there
Also known as “The Village,” this is conveniently adjacent to our venues. The Village is a collection of shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries, pubs, and more about a half-mile west of the center of Rice’s campus.

If you’re craving some time outside, Hermann Park is a great option. Conveniently surrounded by the Museum District and Rice University, Hermann Park is over 445 acres of beautiful walks and entertainment. The park offers countless things to do outside: a golf course, the Houston Zoo, a Japanese Garden, paddle boats, a train for kids, idyllic picnic areas, lush running trails, and more.
The Menil Collection is an art museum that is open to the public, and admission is free. The Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday 11 am to 7 pm.

Becky and Trey love Nancy’s Hustle. Well, Becky loves it and she gets credit for introducing Trey to it. Make a reservation several weeks in advance if you want to eat here (Friday night or Sunday night). In Becky’s opinion, Nancy’s should’ve gotten a Michelin Star, but we digress.
