Silverton is located north of Durango, with the nearest airport being the Durango - La Plata County Airport. You should anticipate needing a vehicle or planning far in advance for a taxi or something similar, as there are no readily available means of public transit between the two towns.
Also to note, Silverton is at an elevation of 9,300 feet above sea level. If you are not familiar with staying at such an elevation, we strongly advise coming ahead of time to acclimate at a lower elevation, such as Durango at 6,500 feet above sea level.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of accommodations in Silverton. Camping for small campers/tents will be available at the venue. Please let us know if you plan to join us camping so we can plan accordingly. If you have a larger RV and would still like to camp, there are some local RV parks also listed below.
While there should be plenty of space available this far out, we recommend booking early as this is a tourist destination.
