What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire, please! Think midi dress, jumpsuit, skirt/blouse; or suit, dress shirt, sport coat. Tie optional. Since the ceremony is outdoors, pick shoes that won’t sink into the grass.

What will the weather be like?

September in Minnesota brings warm days and cool nights. The lake can be breezy, so bring a jacket or wrap. The ceremony is outdoors, and the reception has an outdoor patio.

Do I need a car?

Answer

Rideshare is very limited in this area. Parking near our ceremony location at Morning Glory Gardens is limited, so if you can carpool with others, please do! We'll have a shuttle to bring guests to hotels/rentals in Starbuck and Glenwood at the end of the night to make sure everyone can enjoy themselves and be safe at the end of the night!

Yes! Just be mindful of the photographer and other guests.

We think so! Join us Saturday for a morning-after brunch and check the “Things to Do” tab. The lake is beautiful this time of year!
