Open from 8am - 2pm on Saturdays. We recommend getting some baked goods from the Blacksburg Bagels stand. If you have dogs, be sure to ask Bella and Beau's for a "Covey bag" of yummy treats!

Carol Lee Donut Shop
A tradition of donut excellent and favorite among Virginia Tech students, Carol Lee Donuts is always worth a stop. Just take a bite of one of their 27 different pastries, and you'll understand. Becky's favorite is the yeasted cinnamon sugar!
Sinkland Farms
Open 4-8pm on Fridays and 10am - 5pm on weekends, the Pumpkin Festival is an October must-do in the region. Filled with local craft vendors and food trucks, there's something for everyone.
Joe's Trees
Our first non-dogs related "not date"! Open 9am - 5pm, visit their small farm store after taking a walk out to the pumpkin patch and corn maze.
Pandapas Pond
Fancy a morning walk or jog? Located not far out of Blacksburg, the loop around the pond offers beautiful scenery.
Mountain Lake Lodge
Fans of Dirty Dancing can visit the iconic lodge (though the lake leaves something to be desired nowadays). If you're up for a short hike, Bald Knob Trail or Loop located behind the lodge offers stunning western-facing mountain views at its summit overlook.
Hahn Horticulture Garden
The largest public garden in western Virginia, featuring hundreds of species of woody and herbaceous plants from around the world.

Eastern Divide Brewing Company
The NRV boasts multiple excellent breweries, including Moon Hollow, Rising Silo, and Iron Tree. However, Eastern is often our go-to due to the diversity of drinks and excellent food.
Floyd Country Store
Known for their Friday Night Jamboree filled with local heritage music and dancing, but also a wonderful place to grab lunch before you explore all the little stores that downtown Floyd has to offer.
