Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Becky Jonen and Mitchell Yurkowitz
We're so excited to share with you some of our favorite places and things to do in Milwaukee - we recommend checking them out if you have time!
Breweries

Breweries

One of our favorite things about living in the Milwaukee is all the breweries we get to explore - we often get together with friends for trivia nights or just hang out at various breweries throughout the city! We highly recommend doing any of the brewery tours the city is known for, but here are some of our favorite local breweries to check out! Lakefront Brewery Eagle Park Brewing Company Pilot Project Brewing Broken Bat Brewing Third Space Brewing New Glarus Brewing Company (home of the famous Spotted Cow, a bit outside the city but worth the trip if you have time)

Milwaukee Public Market

Milwaukee Public Market

400 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

For all your Milwaukee classic needs (cheese/sausage/beer/food) - make sure to stop by get a Bloody Mary from the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe! Be sure to also walk around the Third Ward as well and enjoy one of Milwaukee's most charming areas!

Milwaukee County Zoo

Milwaukee County Zoo

10001 West Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, WI 53226

One of our favorite traditions, every year on Becky's birthday (12/31) we get together with a group of friends and walk around the zoo while drinking boozy hot cocoa and coffee!

Fiserv Forum

Fiserv Forum

1111 North Vel R. Phillips Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203

We love attending Bucks games together at the Fiserv, and recommend catching a game if the team is in town! BUCKS IN SIX

Milwaukee Public Museum

Milwaukee Public Museum

800 West Wells Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233

Feel like you're stepping into our childhoods with the Public Museum - we both have so many stories from growing up of going to the museum whether with our families or on school trips. They are building a new museum so stop by to see the OG museum before it's gone! (see if you can find the rattlesnake button, hear the howler monkey, walk the old streets of Milwaukee, and get spooked from the thunderstorm with the T-Rex and Triceratops)

Milwaukee Art Museum

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Gorgeous architecture and great art directly on Lake Michigan - we both grew up going here on field trips for school and share similar favorite pieces! ("Janitor" is a local favorite)

Veterans Park

Veterans Park

Milwaukee, WI

Our favorite part of Milwaukee is having the gorgeous Lake Michigan as our neighbor - we love taking long walks through Veterans Park and along the lakefront, and showcases our favorite view of the skyline of Milwaukee! Fun fact, we also got our engagement photos taken here :)

Lakeshore State Park

Lakeshore State Park

500 North Harbor Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Just south of the Art Museum and Discovery World, Lakeshore State Park is an amazing area with the shore of Lake Michigan on one side and the Summerfest grounds on the other! Also boasts amazing views of the lake and the city, but venture to the south end of the park and you can not only walk under the Hoan bridge, but also visit the landmark Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse!
