FAQs

The Wedding Website of Becky Jonen and Mitchell Yurkowitz
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking that guests wear formal attire - think a nice suit or midi/floor length dress! We plan on looking our best, so we hope our guests do too!

Question

When and where do the wedding events take place?

Answer

Please see the "Schedule" page for addresses and times of events!

Question

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm, so we recommend you arrive starting at 4:30pm in order to give you time to find a seat and settle in. If you know you will need parking, we recommend planning to come a little earlier as well to account for the added time it may take to find a spot or walk to the venue from a lot/garage.

Question

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

There are two privately owned lots on either side of the venue, so please look for posted rates and instructions if you wish to park there. Otherwise, there is street parking available in the area surrounding our venue (follow posted signage), as well as various other lots and garages that are a short walk away! Since our venue is right in the heart of the Deer District in Milwaukee, there may be increased parking rates or limited availability of parking if there are other events going on (such as a Bucks game) - once the schedule is released for events in the area, we will update this section with more details!

Question

Is the venue wheel-chair and handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, we ensured that every event is located in a handicap accessible space! For the ceremony and reception, there is an entrance on the north side of the Turner Hall building with glass doors where the elevator is located. There will be an elevator assistant available to help, and the elevator goes to all floors needed for the event! If you are attending the welcome party, the handicap/elevator entrance is located within Deer Camp on the street level, so enter the front of Deer Camp and the employees can lead the way!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Trade Hotel, located conveniently in the Deer District and mere steps away from our venue! Rooms are available starting on 10.23.25 and can be booked for either one or two nights! Reservations must be made by 9.23.25 to guarantee a room in our block. Please see the "Hotel" page for more details on how to book your room!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP for yourself and your guests directly on our website - once you receive your invitation, you can go to the "RSVP" page to do so! If you need to change your RSVP after you have already submitted it, you can edit your RSVP up until the deadline of 9.21.25- after this date, please reach out to us directly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Do you remember the 21st night of September? We do, because it's the deadline to RSVP to our wedding! Please submit your RSVP by 9.21.25 so we can ensure an accurate headcount for our vendors - we want to make sure everyone has a spot to sit and a meal to eat!

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions our caterers need to be aware of, there will be a prompt for you to note these when you RSVP on our website. Please make sure to note these for yourself and anyone else in your party!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so thrilled you’ll be celebrating with us! If your invitation includes a plus one, you will see it indicated on the envelope as addressed with "& Guest". If your invitation is for just you, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We can’t wait to share our special day with you!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding events adults-only - we appreciate your understanding on this matter and hope you will still be able to attend!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully ask that everyone refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony, and to please silence or turn off all cell phones until the ceremony is over. We want you to be able to enjoy our wedding day and feel truly present and in the moment with us - we've hired an amazing photo and video team who will be capturing our special day, and we invite you all to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the ceremony!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see the "Registry"page to access our online registry! If you have any issues with the online registry, please let us know and we will work to get it fixed!

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! While we recommend placing gift orders through our online registry, we will have a table and box available to collect gifts and cards at the venue.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for things to do or places to eat in Milwaukee?

Answer

Of course we do! Please see the "Things To Do" page for more details!
